Align and Drive Digital Transformation Across the Organization
Digital Transformation Advanced Module (DTAM)
Develop a shared understanding of Digital Transformation across all levels of your organization and translate it into aligned decisions and focused implementation.
The Digital Transformation Advanced Module (DTAM) is a dedicated training format developed for manufacturing companies where digitalization already plays a role but is often interpreted differently or driven forward in isolated efforts.
The aim is to work with you at RWTH Aachen Campus to develop a shared understanding of digital transformation across your organization, align strategic priorities, and define measures that are geared toward sustainable implementation. The campus provides an environment where research, industry, and real-world application come together, allowing challenges from your company to be addressed in a focused and solution-oriented way.
Structured expert input, team-based working sessions, and moderated discussions build on each other throughout the program. Your teams work on organization-specific challenges, draw on experience from comparable industry projects, and develop outcomes that can be applied directly within your company. This results in a clear, shared picture of how digital transformation should be understood, prioritized, and implemented—across sites, departments, and functions.
Focus areas, content, and duration are tailored to your company’s starting point. In most cases, the program runs for three to five consecutive days and combines strategic guidance with direct application to real-world issues.
By the end of the course, your teams will share a common understanding, defined priorities, and a structured roadmap for evaluating and implementing your digital initiatives. At the same time, they build the skills needed to drive change effectively across locations.

The focus is on tools and methods that help your teams assess the digital maturity of your organization, identify relevant areas for action, and develop a structured roadmap for implementation.
Participants learn how to define actionable measures, set priorities, and align technological and organizational requirements. Topics include the use of AI, IoT, and low-code platforms, as well as the design of system architectures, data flows, and decision-making structures.
All content is tailored to the needs of your company and delivered in a way that connects directly to your company’s specific challenges.
